Abstract
|
In the current study, hybrid of block-pulse functions and Bernoulli polynomials are de ned to obtain the numerical solution of neutral delay di erential equations with time dependant delays. The method is based upon hybrid functions approximation. The properties of hybrid functions consisting of block{ pulse functions and Bernoulli polynomials are presented. These properties are then utilized to reduce the solution of neutral delay di erential equation to a set of algebraic equations by rst expanding the candidate function as hybrid functions with unknown coecients. Then, we analyze the convergence properties of the present method to approximate solutions of the neutral delay differential equations.
