Abstract In this work, a model of optimization with linear objective function regarding to fuzzy relational equations(FRE) with Hamacher’s union are represented. The feasible solution set of such equations in general case is not convex, so, traditional linear programming methods, such as the simplex method and interior point algorithms, can not be applied to this problem. In this paper, initially, some characterizations of the feasible solutions set are studied, then in order to optimizing the objective function an algorithm is given.
