Abstract

The authors are going to present a numerical method to compute the elementary braiding operations for topological quantum computation. Their work seems interesting, especially when the topological qubit has recently been taken into consideration. The most important challenge they are going to solve is obtaining matrix representations for braid generators for an arbitrary number of anyons. The manuscript is valuable to publish in the Journal of Quantum Information Processing. But there are some points that authors should consider them. The abstract is written very generally. The authors have not exactly mentioned what their goal is and what significant achievements they have had. At the end of the introduction section, it is needed to mention the subject of every section. For example, in section 2, … or in section 3,…. . The manuscript has three sections with the following topics. Quantum Computation with Anyons Calculating Braid Generators Implementation of topological CNOT gate But it is not clear, in which part the authors have mentioned their approach to explain the representation of braiding matrices. In general, the importance and novelty of the manuscript is not clear.
