In this manuscript, we propose an event-triggered recursive observer-based disturbance rejection controller for uncertain Lipschitz nonlinear systems. By employing a linear combination of system states and disturbance derivatives, unbounded disturbances are initially transformed into virtual multiple intermediate variables. Subsequently, we construct dual observers operating in a recursive mode to compensate for the remaining term of the disturbance derivative arising from system augmentation. Furthermore, considering that the transmission of the system output is event-triggered, the hybrid system approach is adopted to analyze closed-loop stability and develop co-design methodology for the recursive observer, disturbance rejection controller, and switching dynamic event trigger. Lastly, numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the reliability and efficiency of the proposed method.
